The OCCR Call Center directs incoming and on-campus telephone calls to appropriate campus departments and units. It is located on the ground floor of the Robeson Campus Center in the Campus Information booth.

The Call Center is open from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and 8:30 am to 6:00 pm Tuesdays,and Thursdays throughout the year. Call (973) 353-1766 for assistance.

The Office of Campus and Community Relations provides local and regional transportation and community resource information to the Rutgers-Newark community. One featured service is childcare information, which provides application forms for and personal referrals to local child care centers that are within close proximity to Rutgers-Newark. This service is available not only to commuter students but to faculty and staff members as well who are parents of preschool-aged children. Commuter Services also makes New Jersey Transit and other information available to the campus community at the Information Booth and in the Commuter Lounge.

Commuter Services is located on the ground floor of the Robeson Campus Center in the Campus Information booth. For your convenience, the center is staffed after hours from 4:30 to 6:00 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
